Financing
There is no question that a child's education is a significant investment. At Pine Point, we look to the parents to invest time with their children and build a solid relationship with the faculty. We ask that parents spend time supporting the efforts within the classrooms, on field trips, in the library, and in a score of ways that both support and enhance the value of learning.
Families of children accepted to Pine Point are required to pay tuition each year in order to help cover the operating costs of the school program. And while clearly worth the investment, we are always mindful that an independent school may not seem an affordable option. This is why yearly 14% of the annual operating budget of the school is dedicated to financial support of qualifying families.
*A form from Student Scholarship Services located in Pittsburgh, PA is submitted by each family to determine the level of required assistance. Applications for the 2010-2011 school year are available online. You can download forms or apply online by clicking the "Access the PFS" link.
