Curriculum Spotlights

Pine Point's curriculum is a rigorous, comprehensive course of study.  At the same time it is a rich, diverse collection of individual moments between teachers and students -- unique learning opportunities which foster academic growth and inspire memories which last for a lifetime.  Here we offer profiles of some of those moments.

5th Grade -- Learn about the 5th Grade's innovative partnership with Mystic Seaport as Pine Point students engage in hands-on learning from master historians.

4th Grade -- The class' study of immigration culminated with a trip to New York City as the 4th graders were cast in the role of immigrants arriving in a new land.

3rd Grade -- Each year the class researches a zoo animal and creates life-sized prey which are transported to the Roger Williams Zoo.  The animals stalk the student creations which are baited with food.  This service learning project enriches both the animals and the third graders.
