Supporting Pine Point
As with every independent school, Pine Point relies on the generosity of its donors to help strengthen the entire program. The principle vehicle by which we raise support is the Annual Fund. A gift to the Annual Fund provides support for the entire program ranging from classroom instruction to financial aid. One of the great things about the Annual Fund is that everyone can participate. Every gift is important and makes a difference in the quality of experience offered to our students.
Pine Point is also committed to raising capital funds to build the endowment and to support the growing physical changes being undertaken. The School completed the construction of a new Library/Technology Center in September 2004 and opened the DeMovick Early Childhood Center in September 2008.
As you consider your giving priorities, we hope you will become even more fully invested in Pine Point. Together, we can build a school that will benefit our students and the community at large.
I'd like to make a gift online to the Annual Fund.
Making Gifts of Stock to Pine Point
Making a gift of stock to Pine Point benefits both the school and the donor. If you sell your stock you may incur significant capital gains. However, when you make a gift of stock to Pine Point you may avoid capital gains tax and receive a charitable income tax deduction based on the stock's fair market value at the time of its transfer to Pine Point. Best of all, the school benefits from the generous gift made by the donor. (In order to avoid capital gains, the donor must first transfer ownership of the stock to Pine Point.)
