Commencement Photos

The School’s photographer, Lifetouch, will once again be taking photos at commencement. In addition to shots of the graduates, they will also be taking candids and photos of all award winners. Those wishing to view or purchase photos should visit www.lifetouchevents.com.  The password to view the photos is PINEGRAD2010. After the formal ceremonies are over families may, if they wish, contact the photographer on site to set up impromptu family photographs.

Ocean Blue Lunch Schedule for the Last Week of School

Regular customers will want to take particular note that Ocean Blue Catering will only be serving lunch on Monday, June 7 and Wednesday, June 9.
 
Here is the Lunch Schedule for the week:
 
Monday, June 7 -- Normal Lunch Delivery
Tuesday, June 8 -- Beach Day trips -- NO LUNCH DELIVERY
Wednesday, June 9 -- Normal Lunch Delivery
Thursday, June 10 -- Field Day – All School BBQ Lunch
Friday, June 11 -- NO LUNCH DELIVERY
 
Please be sure to provide lunch for your children and you will not be charged for Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.

Efforts To End Hunger Continue

Students donated a large number of canned goods to the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center as part of Friday's annual Carnival celebration.  Our initiatives to help those less fortunate do not end there, however.  As part of Local Hunger Awareness Month the PNC has asked the community to show their support by pledging $5.00 or more to support the residents and the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center's efforts to help END LOCAL HUNGER!

The PNC began a "Weekender Backpack Food Program for Children" to provide 6 meals per child for each weekend during the school year.  This program will continue through July and August with the help of local sponsors.  The GIVE Committee and the Parents Association would like to show Pine Point's support by collecting $5.00 from each student at Pine Point School.  During the last week of school an envelope will be found in each classroom, starting on Tuesday, June 1st.  Please help end local hunger and donate!  

Visit the Summer Book Fair

Pine Point School's annual Summer Book Fair opens Monday, June 7 in the Library/Technology Center and runs thoughout the week.  Stop by between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. June 7-9.  On Thursday, June 10 (Field Day) you can visit between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.  

Extended Day Sign-up for Field Day, Thursday, June 10

Extended Day is available for all students after Field Day activities on June 10. Hours are from 12:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. for a flat fee of $21. Please confirm with Maureen in the main office if your child will be attending so that we can plan appropriately.
