Generosity. Involvement. Volunteerism. Education.

Pine Point's G.I.V.E. Committee is one of the only student-led, middle-school age philanthropy groups at an independent school anywhere in the country. Originally formed from the Student Government, G.I.V.E. is now a independent team of 8th and 9th grade students who organize and fund our community's charitable efforts throughout the academic year.

Organizations and initiatives we support include:

  • Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center
  • Go Red for Women
  • Autism Speaks
  • Sophia Sees Hope
  • Hospice of Southeastern Connecticut
  • The American Red Cross

G.I.V.E. is always eager to hear proposals from nonprofit groups which need support. For more information, contact the G.I.V.E. advisors Maria Iacoi or Lisa Scott.
